Robert Gamperl, AIA

Robert Gamperl, AIA has a diverse work experience in the real estate and architectural fields. Robert is currently serving as the Director of Real Estate at Sagewind Development since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at Potawatomi Business Development Corporation starting from February 2022.

Before transitioning into real estate, Gamperl worked at Hammes Partners as the Vice President of Development from July 2020 to March 2022. Their role focused on investment in the U.S. outpatient healthcare real estate market.

Gamperl's experience also includes serving as the Director of Real Estate at Berengaria Development from April 2013 to July 2020. Robert began their career as an Architect at HGA from May 2007 to April 2013, where they gained valuable design and technical skills.

In the early stages of their career, Gamperl worked as an Intern Architect at Rafael Vinoly Architects from October 2006 to May 2007, an Architect 2 at Lucien Lagrange Architects from June 2005 to September 2006, an Intern Architect at Goldberg Downey Architects from 2001 to 2003, and as an Intern at VOA Associates in 2002. Robert also had a brief stint as an Architect Intern at Flad & Associates in 2003.

With over two decades of experience, Gamperl has developed a strong background in real estate development and architectural design.

Robert Gamperl, AIA, began their education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from 1998 to 2001. Robert then pursued further education at the same institution and earned a Master of Architecture (MArch) from 2003 to 2005. In 2009, Gamperl attended Marquette University and received a Certificate in Future Milwaukee. Before their time at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, they had also attended DePaul University from 1995 to 1997, although the specific degree and field of study from that period are not provided.
