Ben Gonzalez

Ben Gonzalez, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ben is currently working as the Head of Data and Analytics at POTEN & PARTNERS. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the President of the Association of Industry Analytics, where they managed the board of directors and developed partnerships with companies, universities, and non-profit organizations.

Ben also gained experience at OPIS, A Dow Jones Company, where they served as an Associate Director, Research and Analysis. Before that, they worked at Phillips 66, where they held multiple roles including Technical Analytics Coach, Data Science and Analytics, Market Intelligence Specialist in Procurement, and Energy Economist. In these roles, they led trainings, coached individuals on analytical projects, developed market reports, and conducted economic analysis.

During their time as a graduate student at the University of Houston-Victoria, Ben was actively involved in the UHV MBA Student & Alumni Association, serving as the President. Ben also gained teaching experience as a Math Teacher at Alief ISD.

Additionally, Ben has held positions at Platts and Jacobs Consultancy, where they gained expertise in petrochemical analysis, supply chain management, and market research. Ben has also made significant contributions to professional organizations such as NSHMBA, where they served as the Executive Vice President and Marketing Director of the Houston Chapter.

Ben Gonzalez, MBA has a strong educational background in business and mathematics. Ben obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on International Business and Marketing from the University of Houston-Victoria in 2012. Prior to that, they pursued an MBA program at the University of St. Thomas (TX) from 2009 to 2010, although the degree obtained is not specified.
