Zahid Afzal

Zahid Afzal is an experienced LPG Broker at POTEN & PARTNERS since January 2018, with a background in corporate relations as the Corporate Relations Director at the Association of Industry Analysts from September 2017 to December 2018. Prior roles include research and analysis of natural gas markets at Argus Media, and senior specialist in price assessment at Platts, where market fundamentals and pricing strategies were developed for US natural gas liquids. Zahid has also contributed to technology commercialization as a Project Specialist at the Texas Engineering Extension Service and conducted competitive intelligence analysis at Reliant Energy. Additional expertise includes managing consulting services at Vernon USA LLC and tax analysis for KPMG. Zahid holds an MAB in Agribusiness, Economics and Finance, and a BSc in Leadership Development from Texas A&M University.
