Ben Greenhouse

Ben Greenhouse has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry. Ben is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Potentia Renewables Inc. since February 2023. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Vice President, Growth from January 2019 to January 2023. Before joining Potentia Renewables Inc., Ben worked at NextEra Energy Resources as an Executive Director from March 2015 to June 2016. Ben also served as the Director and Project Director, Wind Development at NextEra Energy Resources from March 2011 to March 2015 and June 2008 to March 2011, respectively. Additionally, they worked at FPL Energy as a Principal Environmental Specialist from June 2007 to June 2008, and at Ontario Centres of Excellence, Centre for Energy as a Manager, Business Development from May 2005 to June 2007. Earlier in their career, Ben was the President & Owner of Skaana, Inc. from April 2000 to December 2006.

Ben Greenhouse completed their undergraduate education from 1995 to 1999 at the University of Toronto - Innis College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Evolutionary Biology and Zoology. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Waterloo from 2003 to 2006, graduating with a Master of Environmental Studies degree in Environment and Resource Studies.
