Cathy Zhao has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Cathy worked as an Environmental Permitting & Compliance Coordinator at Potentia Renewables Inc., where they were responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Prior to this, they served as a Domestic Content Analyst at the same company, focusing on domestic content requirements.

Cathy attended the University of Toronto from 2008 to 2013. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's Degree in Urban Planning at York University from 2013 to 2016.
