Demarius Simmons

DeMarius Simmons is an experienced professional in drone operations and intelligence analysis. As the Forestry Drone Pilot & GIS Analyst at PotlatchDeltic Corporation since February 2023, Simmons specializes in utilizing GIS and drone technology for forestry applications. Concurrently serving as CEO of Southern Drone Company since January 2019, Simmons has led efforts to integrate drones and analytical software into agriculture and forestry. Previous roles include significant leadership positions at BAE Systems and MacAulay-Brown, where Simmons managed teams, ensured quality control in analytical products, and provided extensive training to personnel on various analytical tools and operations. With an educational background in Counseling Psychology and Forensic Psychology from Walden University and Southern New Hampshire University, Simmons brings a diverse skill set to the field.
