Dennis B. is the Founder and President of Polemarchoi Inc., established in January 2021, specializing in strategic competition in defense, energy, and commerce for both public and private sector clients. With nearly three decades of experience in the U.S. Army, Dennis served as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer and held multiple roles in the United States Department of Defense, including Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for African Affairs Policy and Director of DOD Small Business Programs. Additional professional experience includes roles in the U.S. House of Representatives as a Congressional Candidate and Military Legislative Assistant, as well as a Political Consultant for the Ohio Secretary of State. Dennis holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from The Ohio State University, further complemented by extensive overseas experience during the War on Terrorism.

The Potomac Institute for Policy Studies is an independent, 501(c)(3), not-for-profit public policy research institute. The Institute identifies and aggressively shepherds discussion on key science, technology, and national security issues facing our society. From these discussions and forums, we develop meaningful policy options and ensure their implementation at the intersection of business and government. The Institute’s current endeavors have required the formation of special efforts in: Terrorism and asymmetry; Emerging threats and opportunities; National health policies; Science and technology forecasting; and National security.
