Abigail Spangler

Dr. Abigail Spangler is president of the C.D. Spangler Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors of Spangler Companies, Inc. She is the founder of Protest Easy Guns, a national social movement to reduce gun violence in America, and founder of the Campaign to Close the Gun Show Loophole, which advocates background checks before gun sales. In these capacities, she works with gun violence victims' families and citizens across the nation. Dr. Spangler holds a B.A. from Wellesley College and a Ph.D. in political science from Columbia University.
