Robert Rappoport

Robert Rappoport has over 30 years of work experience in safety and security roles. Robert is currently serving as the Director of Safety and Security at The Potomac School, a college-preparatory independent day school in Virginia. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Safety & Security at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart, an all-girls Catholic School in Maryland. Before transitioning to the education sector, Rappoport worked at the Rockville City Police Department, where they served as the Acting Chief of Police for over 30 years. Additionally, they have corporate security experience.

Robert Rappoport holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Lycoming College. Robert has also obtained several certifications, including Dignitary and Executive Protection from Independent Security Advisors LLC in 2012, Executive Leadership from FBI National Academy in 2007, NIMS and FEMA ICS from FEMA in 2003, and Crime & Loss Prevention Technology & Programming – Level III from the National Crime Prevention Institute in 1995.
