David G. Porter is an experienced professional with a strong background in safety, security, and diversity advocacy within various organizations, including the USCG Auxiliary and the New York City Police Department. Currently serving as the Director of Safety and Security at Westgate Resorts and as the Assistant National Commodore of the Diversity Team for the USCG Auxiliary, David has held multiple leadership positions in both organizations. Previous roles include significant responsibilities in training and operations coordination at NYPD and overseeing recruitment and training efforts within the USCG Auxiliary. David holds a Master of Science in Protection Management from John Jay College and additional degrees in Leadership and History, underscoring a commitment to education and professional development in emergency management and organizational leadership.
