Faika Kabir

Faika Kabir is an experienced professional in emergency management, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at PotomacWave for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) since February 2020. Previous roles include a position as a Consultant at FEMA and as an Emergency Management Associate at Hagerty Consulting, where responsibilities included preparing emergency operations plans and conducting research. Faika has also held positions at the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration as a Trainee Program Analyst, and at the DC Department of Public Works as a Performance Measurement Intern. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Regulatory Emergency Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from John Jay College (CUNY) with additional minors in Public Administration, Anthropology, and Art.
