Hamza Aftab has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Hamza is currently serving as the Co-Founder & CTO of Potrero Labs since October 2022. Prior to this, they were a Member at South Park Commons from May 2022 to November 2022.
Hamza also has extensive experience at Facebook, where they started as a Software Development Intern in July 2011 and later became a Principal Software Engineer, serving from September 2012 to May 2022.
In addition to their work at Facebook, Hamza briefly co-founded Phonar in June 2012 before moving on to their role at Facebook. Overall, their work experience showcases a strong background in software development and leadership roles in the technology industry.
Hamza Aftab attended Aitchison College from 2000 to 2008, where they pursued GCE O & A Levels with a focus on Engineering. After completing their studies at Aitchison College, they furthered their education at Princeton University from 2008 to 2012. At Princeton, they obtained a BSE degree, specializing in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Engineering and Management Systems.
