Lauren Seaby Andersen is a Senior Scientist at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research since December 2017, working within the Earth System Analysis Department in the Terrestrial Safe Space working group. Previously, Lauren served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institute, focusing on Earth System Analysis. Prior roles include External Lecturer and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Roskilde University, specializing in environmental risk and hydrological modeling. With a Ph.D. in Hydrology from the University of Copenhagen, a Master's in Geography from San Diego State University, and a Bachelor's in Geography from Western Washington University, Lauren has extensive expertise in hydrological change modeling and climate impact research, supported by positions across various environmental organizations.
