Katherine Gentry

Katherine Gentry is a Senior Scientist in Biophysics at HotSpot Therapeutics, Inc. since May 2024, previously serving as a Scientist II at Treeline Biosciences from March 2022 to 2024, where research focused on developing biophysical assays and protein purification. Prior to that, Katherine held the position of Postdoctoral Scientist at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) from October 2019 to March 2022, concentrating on small molecule-lipid interactions. Katherine's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Michigan (2014-2019), where research was conducted under Dr. Ayyalusamy Ramamoorthy, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Kansas State University (2010-2014). Early academic experience included being an Amgen Scholar at Washington University in St. Louis in 2013.
