Pascal Weigmann

Pascal Weigmann is a Research Scientist at the PIK - Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research since August 2021, specializing in climate impact studies. Previous experience includes serving as a Student Research Assistant at Technische Universität Berlin, where contributions were made to an event-based simulation framework for electrical transportation networks and a collaboration with Bombardier on battery electric trains. Additional roles include a Research Intern at ifeu, focusing on life cycle assessments and material flow modeling, a Tutor for Physics Experiments at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, and conducting research on soft matter at Bilkent Üniversitesi through a DAAD scholarship. Pascal's educational background includes a Master of Science in Physikalische Ingenieurswissenschaften from Technische Universität Berlin and a Bachelor of Science in Physik from The University of Göttingen.
