Robert Olson worked as a Regional Plant Engineer at Potters Industries starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they were a Process Sustaining Engineer - CG Inputs at Wolfspeed from February 2022 to April 2023. From November 2020 to January 2022, they served as an Operations Manager at Washington Mills, where they managed a team of 30 Union Employees and implemented various improvements such as mobile screening plants and lean/six sigma methodologies. Before that, they were a Process Engineer at Washington Mills from May 2018 to November 2020, where they achieved significant yield improvement and set company records for productivity. Robert Olson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering and Management from South Dakota Mines, where they studied from 2010 to 2016. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) and Certified Lean Management, both obtained from Six Sigma Academy Amsterdam in April and May 2022, respectively. Robert also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from the same institution, obtained in April 2022. Furthermore, Robert has completed courses such as Learning Data Analytics Part 2: Extending and Applying Core Knowledge from LinkedIn in December 2021 and Communication within Teams from LinkedIn in October 2021. Robert also holds certifications in Six Sigma Black Belt Certification - Level I from Avetta Business Institute in December 2020 and Commercial Drone Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration in December 2018.
