Cris Fierro has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2010, they started their career as a firefighter at Hutto Fire Rescue, where they worked until 2014. They then joined the Capital Area Council of Governments in 2013 and served as a Hazardous Materials Instructor until 2015. Concurrently, they also worked as a Fire Instructor at Austin Independent School District from 2013 to 2015. In 2014, they became a Lieutenant at North Hays County Fire Rescue and held the position until 2016. Later in 2016, they worked as an Emergency Dispatcher at Larimer County Sheriff's Office until 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Science Teacher at Greeley-Evans School District 6. Currently, they are a Teacher at Poudre School District, where they have been working since 2020.
Cris Fierro completed a Master of Natural Sciences Education degree at Colorado State University from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2016, they obtained a Master's Degree in Public Administration from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Cris Fierro began their higher education journey with a Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management, which they completed at West Texas A&M University from 2013 to 2015.
