Karen Lovett Ms

Karen Lovett, MS, RN, ACNS-BC, CCNS, NEA-BC has a strong and diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Karen began their career at the University of Colorado Hospital in 1997 as a Clinical Nurse and progressed through various roles, including Charge Nurse, Clinical Nurse Educator, Associate Nurse Manager, and eventually Director of Cardiac and Vascular Services. In 2013, they moved to Centura Health as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Critical Care before transitioning back to the University of Colorado Hospital in 2016 as the Director of Patient Services. Currently, Karen holds the position of Vice President Operations at UCHealth since August 2021.

Karen Lovett obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University in 2004. Karen then went on to earn a Masters of Science in Healthcare Leadership from Regis University in 2006. Subsequently, they completed a Masters of Science in Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2011. Additionally, Karen obtained certifications as an Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist in 2011 from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and AACN, respectively.
