Merle Taylor

Merle Taylor, FACHE has a strong background in healthcare leadership, starting as a Training Coordinator at Brigham Young University and moving up to various executive roles at UPMC hospitals, including Vice President of Operations. Most recently, Merle served as the Chief Operating Officer at UCHealth Memorial Health System before becoming the President of Diversified Services and Metro Denver Community Hospitals at UCHealth in 2022.

Merle Taylor, FACHE obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University in 2000. Merle then pursued further education, earning a Master of Health Administration (MHA) from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 2006. Additionally, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis in the same year. In 2017, Merle Taylor obtained the certification of Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
