Marcos Rodriguez is the current Director of Facilities at Poughkeepsie City School District. Marcos has previous experience as an assistant manager at Rodriguez Grocery from January 2003 to December 2010 and as the Assistant Director of Facilities at Ossining Union Free School District from May 2016 to June 2021. In their current role, Marcos oversees the performance of all facilities and ground related tasks, manages a large crew of custodians, and coordinates with building administration, Maintenance Foreman, and the Director of Facilities. Marcos has also implemented new flooring processes and gym refinish processes to reduce time and cost. Lastly, Marcos has also coordinated with local Police and Fire Departments.
Marcos Rodriguez has a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal from Mercy College and a Precision Measurement Equipment Calibration and Repair Technician certification from the Community College of the Air Force.
They are on a team with Charles Gallo - Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education, Natasha Cherry - Executive Director of Community Schools, and Jane O'shea - Director of Data, Accountability, & Assessment. Their manager is Eric Jay Rosser, Superintendent.
