Natasha Brown

Natasha Brown, MPA, CAS, currently serves as the Executive Director of Community Schools for the Poughkeepsie City School District, a role held since March 2019. As the inaugural executive director, Natasha oversees the achievement of district goals, champions the implementation of model programming, and strengthens partnerships with community stakeholders to enhance educational outcomes. Prior to this position, Natasha held various leadership roles within the district, including Director of Parent & Community Engagement, where initiatives focused on family involvement and grant management, and Director of School Climate and Culture, emphasizing evidence-based practices to improve school environments. Natasha holds a Master of Public Administration in Ethical Leadership from Marist College, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership from Niagara University, and a Bachelor's degree in History/Black Studies from SUNY New Paltz.
