Natasha Cherry, MPA, serves as the Director of Family & Community Engagement for Poughkeepsie City School District since July 2015. Additionally, Natasha has been a freelance community event planner since December 2008, organizing significant events such as Diaspora Day at SUNY Purchase and the New Hope Community Center's Black History Celebration. Natasha previously held the position of President at the Poughkeepsie Public Schools Foundation from July 2014 to June 2016 and was the President of a youth basketball program from May 2012 to May 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Marist College, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership from Niagara University, a BA in History from SUNY New Paltz, and an AA in Liberal Arts and Humanities from Dutchess Community College.
