Daniel Matranga

Daniel Matranga is an experienced reference librarian with a robust background in library services spanning over 15 years. Currently serving as a Reference Librarian at Poughkeepsie Public Library District since July 2008, Daniel specializes in a variety of tasks including reference desk services, circulation support, interlibrary loan, and public computer training. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at Marist College and Dutchess Community College, where responsibilities included circulation support, supervision of student workers, and bibliographic instruction. Daniel's expertise is further underpinned by an MLS in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute and a BFA in Fine Arts from Boston University.
