Janet Huen

Janet Huen has had extensive work experience in the library field. Janet began their career in 1986 as an Assistant Director at the East Fishkill Community Library, where they worked until August 1999. In 2001, Janet joined the Poughkeepsie Public Library District as an Assistant Director, a position they have held since then.

Janet Huen obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from SUNY New Paltz in the years 1966 to 1970. Janet later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Library Science from LIU Post, which they completed between 1974 and 1978. Janet Huen also holds a certification in Library Science.
