Joel Coles is a partner at Powell Gilbert LLP, specializing in intellectual property litigation with a focus on life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. They have extensive experience in handling multi-jurisdictional patent and trade mark actions, as well as in electronics and mechanical engineering cases. Joel's academic background includes a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Cambridge University, along with degrees in Law from BPP Law School and a Post-graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice from the University of Oxford.
