Luca Magenes

Luca Magenes is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product line management, technical direction, and infrastructure assessment. Since February 2016, Luca has served as Product Line Manager for Bus Systems and Integrated Packaged Solutions at Powell, where responsibilities include developing strategic plans and conducting market analyses. In addition to current roles with Powell and MAC Engineering, Luca leads the Energy category for the ASCE Committee on America's Infrastructure, contributing to America's 2025 Report Card project. Previous positions included Project Engineer II at BakerRisk and Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on structural engineering and safety standards. Luca holds a Master's in Structural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and multiple degrees in Civil Engineering from Università di Pavia.
