Alban Van Assel has a diverse work experience history. Alban started their career as a Stock Operator at Harris Wilson in 2012 before moving on to become Vice President at BDS HEI from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they participated in a Hackathon Project at Oney, which won first place. Alban also briefly worked as a JEE Developer at CGI in 2015. From 2016 to 2019, Alban worked at Daxium Middle East as a Senior Project Manager and Project Manager - BI Analyst. During this time, they managed projects for key accounts such as L'Oréal, Sephora, Cartier, and Thales. Alban joined Powell Software in 2019 and has since held various roles including Customer Success Manager EMEA, Head Of Customer Support, and their current role as Head of Customer Success.

Alban Van Assel obtained a Master's degree in Computing Science Engineering from École de technologie supérieure in 2016. Prior to that, they attended HEI - Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur from 2011 to 2016, where they studied Ingénierie informatique. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alban obtained a certification in Prévention et secours civiques de niveau 1 (PSC1) from organisme de secourisme in April 2013.
