Jean-François Paradis, CPA, CFA has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Jean-François started their career as a Senior Clerk in Fund Accounting at the National Bank of Canada in 2008. In 2009, they interned at PwC in the Assurance department. Jean-François then joined PwC as an Associate in 2011 and progressed to roles as a Senior Associate and then a Manager. In 2016, Jean-François joined Power Corporation of Canada as the Director of Financial Accounting.

Jean-François Paradis, CPA, CFA, has a comprehensive education history. Jean-François completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Professional Accounting at HEC Montréal from 2007 to 2010. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's Degree in Public Accounting at HEC Montréal from 2010 to 2014, alongside a specialized graduate diploma (DESS) in the same field from 2010 to 2011.

Jean-François Paradis also holds additional certifications. In May 2013, they obtained the CPA auditor, CA designation from the Ordre des CPA du Québec. In September 2018, they completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program at the CFA Institute. Later, in June 2023, they participated in the Great-West Lifeco Accelerated Development Program through Harvard Business School Executive Education.
