Michael Riley has extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles, particularly within the IEEE Power & Energy Society, where significant positions include IEEE 1527 Chair, IEEE 693 Chair, and Vice-Chair of IEEE 1527. In addition to this role, Michael has worked at Bonneville Power Administration since April 2002, holding titles such as Standards Engineer and Civil (Structural) Engineer. Michael's academic background includes a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from Portland State University, complemented by an Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Portland Community College.
