Ashish Sharma

Ashish Sharma is an electrical engineering professional with extensive experience in the power sector. Currently serving as a Consultant in the IPDS unit at Power Finance Corporation Ltd. since July 2019, Ashish is responsible for the preparation and review of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), claims verification for DISCOMS, and management of social media for the unit. Prior to this, Ashish worked as an Engineer-II at RECTPCL, focusing on PMDP projects in Jammu and Kashmir, where responsibilities included the erection, testing, and commissioning of various grid stations and transmission lines. Earlier experience includes roles as a Works Engineer at IRCON International Ltd., handling progress reporting and performance optimization, and as a Junior Project Engineer at Louis Berger Group Inc., where project documentation and site supervision were key tasks. Ashish holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jammu and Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology, completed in 2010.
