Deborah Brooks

Deborah Brooks has extensive experience in the financial industry, with a focus on lending and collections. Deborah most recently served as the Vice President Consumer Lending at Educational Systems Federal Credit Union since 2017. Prior to that, they held various roles at Power Financial Credit Union, including Director Loan Operations/Lending from 2007 onwards. At Power 1 Credit Union, they were the Assistant Vice President of Loan Operations from 2001 to 2006. Deborah also worked at FPL Federal Credit Union as a Collections Supervisor from 1997 to 2001. Before joining the credit unions, they were a Commercial Loan Recovery Officer at First Union National Bank and a Collection Supervisor at Southeast Bank N.A. Overall, Deborah has demonstrated the ability to effectively manage loan operations, mitigate risk, and drive growth in loan portfolios.

Deborah Brooks obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Organizational Leadership from Trinity International University-Florida, from the year 2005 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications such as "Be the Manager People Won't Leave" from LinkedIn in February 2022, "Communicating with Emotional Intelligence" from LinkedIn in January 2022, "Six Sigma" from Aveta Business Institute in January 2016, "Nationwide Mortgage License System (NMLS)" from the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) in 2009, and "State of Florida Real Estate License" from the Department of Professional Regulations in 1991.
