Tayyab Palanpurwala (Ty)

Ty Palanpurwala has extensive experience in the field of information technology and data processing. Tayyab (Ty) started their career as a Y2K Software Testing Intern - QA at Summit Information Systems in 1998. Tayyab (Ty) then moved on to work as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Oregon State University, where they were responsible for testing and setting up network servers.

In 1999, Palanpurwala joined Fiserv and held various roles including System Analyst, Deployment Analyst, and Front Office Analyst. Tayyab (Ty) managed and executed projects for over 60 credit unions, trained end users, and successfully installed various systems and modules.

In 2007, Palanpurwala joined CitizensFirst Credit Union as their Information Technology Manager. Tayyab (Ty) oversaw and managed all IT operations, including database administration and system supervision, for a $320 million credit union with 4 branches.

In 2011, Palanpurwala joined Power Financial Credit Union as the Director of IT Operations. Tayyab (Ty) provided oversight and management of all data processing operations, as well as administration and supervision of the "Spectrum" Database. Tayyab (Ty) managed a $450 million credit union with 5 branches and over 110 employees.

Tayyab (Ty) Palanpurwala attended Habib Public School and completed their high school education there. Later, they enrolled at Oregon State University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS).
