Marco Nascimento

Marco Nascimento has extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Marco is currently the Director of Product Development at Power Financial Wellness, Inc. starting from March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Product Lead for Unsecured Short Team Loans at Wonga from December 2020 to February 2023. From December 2018 to November 2020, they held the role of Product Lead for Credit Risk & Decisioning for Unsecured Loans at Capfin. Marco also gained experience at Letshego as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing secured and unsecured lending, from July 2015 to November 2018. Before that, they served as the Head of Expansions and Product Business Owner at MyBucks from October 2013 to June 2015. Marco started their career at Blue Financial Services as the Roaming Operations Manager from February 2009 to October 2013. Marco initially worked as an Area Manager at Thuthukani Financial Services from August 2005 to February 2009.

Marco Nascimento has a diverse education history. In 1998, they attended Jeppe High School for Boys, where they obtained their Senior Certificate in an unspecified field of study in 2002. Following this, they pursued a short course certificate in Accounting and Finance at the University of the Witwatersrand from 2006 to 2007. Marco then enrolled at the University of Cape Town from 2011 to 2013, where they completed a Certificate in Finance, focusing on general finance. In 2013, they had a brief period at the University of South Africa, also known as Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, studying Corporate Governance.
