Matuba Mahlatjie has a diverse background in media and communications. They have experience as a Communications & Media Relations Manager at Outright International, where they currently work. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Communications (Africa) at Power for All, where they implemented and managed communications and content strategies.

They have also worked as an Editorial Contributor at Eyewitness News (EWN) and as a News Correspondent at TRT World and teleSUR English. At The Solidarity Fund, they were a Content Creator for a platform focused on responding to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mahlatjie has also worked as a Media Training Specialist at MInsight Content Creation, where they trained advocacy officers and government officials in crisis management and interview preparation.
