Kara Brown is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial analysis and control. Currently serving as a Financial Analyst at Power Generation Company of Trinidad and Tobago since May 2017, Kara has previously held positions as a Control Analyst at Repsol and as a Graduate Trainee in Finance at Petrotrin, where responsibilities included budget preparation and variance reporting. In addition to professional experience, Kara has an academic background in Economics, holding both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. Early career experience includes a traineeship in materials purchasing at Point Lisas Nitrogen Limited and tutoring Macroeconomics at the university level.
