Arun Gandhi

Arun Gandhi is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Lead Transmission Planning Engineer at Power Grid Engineering, LLC, since June 2019. Prior to this role, Arun held positions at NYISO from April 2016 to June 2019, where responsibilities included performing System Impact Studies and ensuring compliance with various reliability standards. Arun's background also includes academic experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, focusing on electrical machine topologies and power systems. Earlier, Arun completed a research internship at GE Global Research, emphasizing high power density DC-DC converters for HVDC applications.
