Niraja Swaminathan

Niraja Swaminathan started working at Power Integrations in 2022 as a Senior Application Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2021 to 2022. Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Oregon State University from 2019 to 2021, where they focused on electrical power distribution systems for future aerial vehicles and solar-powered HVAC systems for commercial buildings. They also worked as a Pre-doctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 2019 to 2019, and as a Project Associate at the same institution from 2012 to 2014, where they worked on solar PV powered water pumping systems and AC-DC converters for smart green buildings.

Niraja Swaminathan completed a dual M.S. and Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Niraja pursued their studies at this institution from 2014 to 2019. Prior to their time at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Niraja obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Prince Shri Venkateshwara Padmavathy Engineering College, where they studied from 2008 to 2012.
