Shankar Bhavani

Shankar Bhavani has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Shankar started their career in 2013 at Samsung R&D Institute India, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer, Lead Engineer, and eventually Senior Lead Engineer. In 2014, they joined V.R.Siddhartha as a Committee Member on the Department advisory board. Since 2018, Shankar has been working at FourKites, Inc. Shankar began as a Senior Lead Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Associate Engineering Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Staff Engineer, demonstrating their growth and expertise in the field.

Shankar Bhavani completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from V.R.Siddhartha College of Engineering, starting in 2007 and ending in 2011. Following that, they pursued a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad, starting in 2011 and finishing in 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Shankar Bhavani obtained various certifications in different fields. In 2015, they completed a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera. In 2020, they received certifications in Data Science with Python and Machine Learning from Simplilearn. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Java, Programming Basics, Programming Intermediate, and Rest API (Intermediate) from HackerRank in September 2020. In August 2020, they achieved an Advanced Certification in Machine Learning from Simplilearn. Furthermore, in November 2020, they obtained a certification in Deep Learning Fundamentals from Simplilearn. In November 2022, they acquired an Advanced Certification in AI and Machine Learning from IIIT Hyderabad. Lastly, in June 2023, they completed a certification titled "Understanding and Supporting LGBTQ+ Employees" from LinkedIn.
