Venkat Reddy Bujala

Venkat Reddy Bujala has over 25 years of experience in hotel engineering and facilities management. Venkat is currently working as the Cluster Director of Engineering for Hilton Hotels & Resorts at Power International Holding, where they oversee the engineering and maintenance operations of multiple properties. Prior to this, they held the position of Pre-Opening Director of Engineering at Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts in 2021 and Director of Engineering at Minor Hotels from 2017 to 2021. Venkat also worked as a Cluster Chief Engineer at TIME Hotels in 2016, Pre-Opening Chief Engineer at Golden Tulip Hotels, Suites & Resorts in 2016, and Chief Engineer at Sayaji Hotels Ltd from 2014 to 2016. Before that, they served as the Chief Engineer at THE GOLKONDA HOTEL from 2012 to 2014 and Sarovar Hotels & Resorts from 2008 to 2012. Venkat started their career as a Maintenance Engineer at JLL in 2002 and later worked as a Shift Engineer at Sterling & Wilson Ltd from 1999 to 2002.

Venkat Reddy Bujala obtained their B-Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from Dr.BATU. Venkat later pursued additional certifications, including the PMP® Certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2022. Venkat also obtained an MMUP "B" Grade License from the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, Qatar in October 2019. Additionally, they obtained several certifications in various areas such as advanced communication techniques, crisis management planning, leadership during times of crisis, critical thinking skills, emotional intelligence and leadership styles, facilitating change, negotiation, overbooking practices and managing, solving economical and societal problems with AI, understanding competitive advantage, and user stories. These certifications were obtained from Torrens University Australia Ltd in December 2020. Venkat Reddy Bujala is currently pursuing a Project Management professional degree from the Project Management Institute Chennai Chapter, with an expected completion date in 2025. Venkat also had some educational experience in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UPDA-Qatar.
