Hamed Babai (Hami) launched Power Kiosk in 2011 with one mission, to simplify complexity with transparency. After working alongside retail energy experts and learning to speak the industry as a second language, he witnessed brokers over-extending themselves in the price discovery process and their customers continuing to be confused about their options.

Having created an end-to-end contract management system, Hami was ready to bring an all-encompassing marketplace to the industry. Now buyers and sellers could connect in ways previously not possible. Hami’s vision for his software has always been to create honest, results-driven experiences for brokers to provide to their customers.

Power Kiosk is committed to bringing real solutions to the energy world with automated and customized technology.

Prior to founding Power Kiosk, Hami served as CTO of Best Energy. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Northwestern University and an MS from the University of Maryland.
