Annika Schwartzkopf

Annika Schwartzkopf has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Annika started their career as a Design Assistant at Pink Fine Stationery, where they designed wedding invitations and assisted with special projects. Annika then worked as an Editorial Intern at The College Crush, where they edited website content and managed SEO. Annika also interned at Business Publications as a Graphic Designer, designing print spreads and advertisements. Annika then joined Drake University Honors Magazine as a Designer, where they designed page spreads and responded to feedback. Annika also served as the Vice President of Communications at Delta Gamma (Alpha Lambda Chapter), implementing a new communications system and compiling meeting minutes. Annika was also involved with the Society of Professional Journalists (Drake University Chapter) as the Vice President, helping run meetings and plan events. Annika then started working at Meredith as a Digital Media Writer & Designer, writing text and designing slideshows for the Better Homes and Gardens website, and freelancing as a designer/project manager. Annika joined Man Up Magazine as the Photography Director, directing and styling photo shoots. Their most recent role was at Power Life Yoga Barre Fitness, where they started as a Studio Manager, managing day-to-day operations and teaching yoga classes. Annika then became the Marketing Director, overseeing marketing strategies, managing the social media content calendar, and leading a team of designers.

Annika Schwartzkopf obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Magazine Journalism and Graphic Design from Drake University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Certified Yoga Instructor (200-hour) from Power Life Yoga in December 2014.
