Douglas F Joens

Douglas F Joens is an experienced electrical engineer currently serving as Vice President of System Planning and Studies at Power System Engineering since January 2007, after progressing from the role of Manager of Transmission and Distribution Studies. Prior roles include Electrical Engineer and Electrical Engineering Intern at Power System Engineering, as well as a Drafting Tech at Heartland Engineering Services. Douglas has expertise in transmission and distribution planning and operations, system protection and control, relay/automation controller programming, and industrial facility design. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University, completed in 2006, and graduated from Anoka High School in 2002.
