Dr. Yasin Sunak

Dr. Yasin Sunak has a strong background in the energy industry. Dr. Yasin currently holds the position of Head of Energy Supply at PowerCo SE since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from 2015 to 2023, serving in various roles including Knowledge Expert in Renewable Energy & Battery Storage and Lead Analyst in Green Energy. From 2008 to 2015, they worked at E.ON Energy Research Center as a Research Associate and Student Assistant. Dr. Yasin also gained experience in the city administration sector through an internship at City administration Nettetal in 2007.

Dr. Yasin Sunak completed a Ph.D. in Energy Economics from RWTH Aachen University, which took place from 2010 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts degree from the same university in Economics, Economic Geography, and Political Science from 2003 to 2010.
