Tino Kaufmann

Tino Kaufmann has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Tino is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at PowerCo SE since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Certification Manager at Utimaco from December 2020 to November 2022.

Before joining Utimaco, Tino worked at NXP Semiconductors, where they held multiple roles. From July 2018 to December 2020, they served as a Security Manager and Certification Expert, overseeing the establishment and improvement of the security management system for manufacturing sites in Asia. During this time, they also ensured compliance with international security standards and liaised with third-party evaluation and certification bodies.

From July 2016 to July 2018, Tino served as the Head of Crypto and Security NXP China, where they had additional responsibilities related to security and management. Before joining NXP Semiconductors, they worked as an R&D Software-Engineer at Thales Digital Identity and Security (formerly Gemalto) from June 2011 to April 2013.

Tino Kaufmann, CISA, CISM, CISSP, holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Information Technology Security from Ruhr University Bochum, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing it from 2003 to 2008. Tino has also obtained several additional certifications, including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in September 2019, Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA in 2018, and Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from ISACA in 2014. Moreover, they possess Security+ certification from compTIA in 2013 and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)2 in 2012. Tino has also completed the IRCA registered ISO/IEC 27001:2013 ISMS Lead Auditor Course and certification exam, progressing towards full IRCA certification.
