Dakota Williams

Dakota Williams is an experienced lighting designer with a solid background in interior design and construction management. At Power Design, Inc., Dakota served as Lighting Designer I and later as Associate Lighting Designer from June 2021 to June 2025. Prior experience includes an internship at Cressy Commercial Real Estate, where Dakota gained hands-on experience in construction processes and remodeling, and a position as an Imagineer in Interior Design at Walt Disney Imagineering, contributing to themed entertainment projects. Dakota also held leadership roles during Boiler Gold Rush at Purdue University, welcoming and supporting over 7,000 new students, and completed an internship in Interior Architecture at the University of Notre Dame, focusing on project site verification and material management. Dakota holds a Bachelor Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, and Construction Management from Purdue University.
