Rick Atkinson

Rick Atkinson, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Marketplace Operations at Powered by People since September 2023. Prior to this role, Rick was the Director of Marketplace & Dropship at Hudson's Bay, where responsibility included launching and expanding the Marketplace on thebay.com using the Mirakl platform. Rick's career also includes a role as Principal Consultant at ReSpawn Digital Services, focusing on business development for the Stewart Superior product line, and serving as Country Manager at newegg.ca, overseeing multi-year business development initiatives in Canada. Earlier experience includes consulting in marketing and business development for various retail and B2B service providers and holding executive positions at STAPLES Canada that involved strategic marketing and divisional merchandising in technology. Rick holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a Bachelor of Science with Honours from Queen's University.
