Shawna Shah

Shawna Shah currently serves as the Head of People & Business Operations at Powered by People since September 2023. Previously, Shawna led the People Operations function at Properly, overseeing a team of over 140 employees from July 2022 to March 2023. At trevor//peter, from February 2010 to July 2022, Shawna was an executive team member tasked with building the People & Operations function for a creative agency and served as both Head of People Operations and Account Director, managing high-profile clients like Nike and Red Bull. Early career experience includes roles at TAXI and Inventa, focusing on managing large-scale advertising campaigns and marketing programs for notable brands. Shawna holds a double major with honors in Communications and Sociology from York University and is pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management at George Brown College.
