Brittany Friese has a diverse work experience across various industries. Brittany is currently working as a Project Developer at PowerFlex since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Ecogy Energy, where they held the roles of Senior Project Manager from September 2021 to October 2022 and Junior Project Manager from October 2020 to September 2021. Before joining Ecogy Energy, Brittany worked at Gannett Fleming as an Office Engineer from January 2020 to October 2020.
In 2019, Brittany had two internships. Brittany interned at qb. consulting, where they were involved in preparing and editing proposals, conducting market research, and creating social media content. Brittany worked there from January 2019 to November 2019. Additionally, they interned at the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) as a Climate Intern. Their responsibilities included researching energy policy, synthesizing research for investor engagement, and analyzing utility commitments towards decarbonization. Brittany worked there from June 2019 to September 2019.
Prior to their internships, Brittany worked as a Field Inspector at RK&K from July 2017 to May 2018. Brittany also gained research experience as a Student Researcher at Duke University, where they conducted literature reviews, created infographics, and analyzed survey data. Brittany worked there from May 2015 to April 2016.
Brittany Friese completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Science at Duke University from 2013 to 2017. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Sustainability Management at Columbia University between 2018 and 2019. In addition to their formal education, Brittany Friese also obtained two certifications. In April 2019, they received a certification in Financial Modeling: Building a Three-Statement Model from Training The Street. Furthermore, in October 2022, they obtained a certification in Project Manager: Project Financials -- Owner from Procore Technologies.
