Ties Verhagen

Ties Verhagen is a Project Developer at Zoncoalitie since September 2025, previously serving as a Subsea Engineer at Van Oord where responsibilities included the engineering design and execution of subsea infrastructure projects for offshore wind. Ties completed an 18-month technical traineeship at Van Oord, gaining wide exposure to engineering and operations. Prior experience includes a position as a Graduate Intern at Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company, conducting research on subsea rock installation, and an internship at Royal HaskoningDHV focusing on the Porto Romano port project. Ties holds a Master of Science in Hydraulic Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, complemented by a minor in Money & Banking from Erasmus University. Involvement in student organizations includes tutoring and serving as a secretary for the hydraulic engineering student association.
