Charlie Baynes-Reid

Charlie Baynes-Reid serves as the General Counsel and CFO of Type One Energy Group, a company developing stellarator fusion power systems. Charlie's extensive experience includes roles as a Board Member at PRIME AE Group, Inc., Founder and General Counsel of NewHold Enterprises, and Chairman of Macro Energy. Previous positions also include Chief Operating Officer at NewHold Investment Corporation, Co-Founder and Investment Committee Member at River Hollow Partners, and Senior Vice President at Macquarie Capital. Early in the career, Charlie was a Lawyer at MinterEllison and a Solicitor at Simmons & Simmons, including the establishment of a Tokyo office. Educational qualifications include an LPC from the College of Law, Store Street, London, and an LLB in Business Law from City, University of London.
